What the assessment measures

The Nine Pillars of Launch Readiness

Readiness for adulthood involves more than grades, behavior, or talent. The assessment evaluates nine developmental areas that work together to shape the young man your son is becoming.

01

Identity

How clearly he understands his values and the kind of man he wants to become.

02

Confidence

His willingness to act, take healthy risks, and trust his ability to grow.

03

Emotions

His ability to recognize what he feels and respond instead of react.

04

Habits

The daily patterns, consistency, and self-management shaping his future.

05

Motivation

His ability to pursue meaningful goals when motivation fades or life gets difficult.

06

Responsibility

His ownership of choices, commitments, tasks, and increasing independence.

07

Relationships

How he builds trust, navigates conflict, and recognizes his impact on others.

08

Resilience

His ability to recover from setbacks, adapt, and keep moving forward.

09

Leadership

His willingness to take initiative and use his influence with courage and integrity.

Simple process. Meaningful insight.

Everything you need to know before beginning

Who should complete the assessment?

The paid Launch Readiness Assessment is designed for the teenage son to complete. Parents may help him access it, but his honest responses produce the most useful developmental snapshot.

How long does it take?

Most teenagers complete the seventy-two scored questions in approximately fifteen minutes. He should answer honestly rather than overthinking each response.

Is this a psychological or diagnostic assessment?

No. It is a developmental assessment focused on readiness for greater independence and adulthood. It does not diagnose mental-health disorders or replace clinical evaluation.

What happens after he finishes?

Your personalized results appear immediately. You will see his overall readiness score, nine pillar scores, greatest strength, primary growth opportunity, big-picture interpretation, and parent guidance.

Do we have to live in Arizona?

No. Families anywhere may purchase and complete the assessment. Counseling services through Krell Counseling are currently available only to families located in Arizona.

Does buying the assessment commit us to counseling?

No. The assessment is valuable as a stand-alone resource. A complimentary results review is available if you would like help interpreting the scores and considering possible next steps.

Will we receive a PDF?

You will receive an online personalized results experience, with a downloadable report available for future reference and sharing with a spouse.

What if my son’s results are concerning?

Lower scores are framed as growth opportunities rather than permanent limitations. The report will help you understand which developmental skills may deserve more intentional attention.
