Who completes the assessment?
A parent completes the Launch Readiness Assessment based on what they currently observe in their teenage son. Honest, balanced responses produce the most useful developmental snapshot.
How long does it take?
Most parents complete the 72 scored statements in approximately 15 minutes. You should answer based on his usual patterns rather than one unusually good or difficult day.
Is this a psychological or diagnostic assessment?
No. It is a proprietary educational developmental assessment built on the Launch Framework. It provides insight into strengths and growth opportunities reflected in your responses across the nine Launch pillars. It is not a psychological evaluation, psychological assessment, diagnostic instrument, or mental health assessment, and it should not be used to diagnose a mental health condition or replace a professional mental health evaluation.
What happens after I finish?
Your personalized results will be available immediately. You will receive an overall score based on your responses, scores across all nine Launch pillars, strongest-scoring pillars, lower-scoring growth opportunities, a big-picture interpretation, and practical parent guidance.
Do we have to live in Arizona?
No. Families anywhere may complete the assessment. Counseling through Krell Counseling is available only to clients physically located in Arizona at the time counseling services are provided.
Does completing the assessment commit us to counseling?
No. The assessment is a stand-alone educational resource. If you would like additional guidance, you may schedule a free results consultation to review the assessment together and discuss whether Launch, another resource, or no additional support would be the most appropriate next step.
Will I receive a PDF?
You will receive an online personalized results experience and a downloadable report for future reference and sharing with a spouse.
What if my son’s results are concerning?
Lower scores are framed as growth opportunities rather than permanent limitations. They reflect lower-scoring Launch pillars based on your responses, not a diagnosis or fixed conclusion about your son.
